Vipers Swing Deals with Sherwood Park and Brooks

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers have made a pair of trades ahead of the BCHL trade deadline.  They’ve acquired 2005 born defenseman Eddie Revenig, 2007 born forward Michael Munroe and future considerations from the Sherwood Park Crusaders in exchange for 20 year old defenseman Marko Stojkov.

Revenig, from Edina Minnesota, has 2 goals in 10 games this season.  He is committed to Bemidji State University.

Munroe, from Hanover, Mass, just recently joined the BCHL.  He has suited up in 5 games with the Cru.  He is committed to the University of Maine.

Outgoing is 20 year old Marko Stojkov who tallied 19 points with Vernon.

In another move, the Vipers have acquired 19 year old defenseman Shane Burns from the Brooks Bandits in exchange for 20 year old forward Luke Bibby.

Burns, from San Clemente, California has 2 assists in 13 games with Brooks.

The Vipers would like to welcome Eddie, Michael and Shane to the organization and wish Marko and Luke all the best with their new teams.
