Forward Keanu Krenn Set to Play in 100th Career NAHL Game This Friday
Bobcats forward, Keanu Krenn, is hitting a milestone this weekend as he will hit triple digits in the games played column for his NAHL career. Krenn, who has lived in both in Germany and Canada, came to the Bobcats last season from the Maryland Black Bears near the trade deadline. Between Maryland and Bismarck, Krenn scored 10 goals and added 13 assists for a total of 23 points in 62 games played.
This year, Krenn has taken many strides in his game. In 37 games played, Krenn has scored 9 goals and tacked on 7 assists for a total of 16 points. In his last 3 games, he has 1 goal and 2 assists, which includes his 1st multi-point game of the season back on January 24th, against the Minnesota Mallards.
Krenn is excited to hit this milestone in his career and wouldn’t want to do it with any other group. “It’s pretty special, especially with this group. It’s an honor to get it done with the Bobcats, so it’s pretty cool.” When asked about what’s next, Krenn mentioned that the focus is on this season and getting the job done at the end of the year, by lifting the Robertson Cup. “Make it to playoffs and get the Robertson Cup.”
You can catch Keanu Krenn and all the Bobcats this Friday and Saturday as they take on the North Iowa Bulls, here at the VFW Sports Center. Puck drop is set for 7:15 P.M. both nights, get your tickets by calling 390-7422 or log onto BismarckBobcats.com
