Forward Tommy Cronin Commits to University of Alaska-Fairbanks
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that forward Tommy Cronin has committed to continue his academic and collegiate hockey career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
Cronin returned to the Bobcats just a few weeks ago and has made an immediate impact to the team. In just 7 games on the season, Cronin has notched 2 goals and added 3 assists for a total of 5 points. Last year Cronin led the Bobcats in points with 59 in just 41 games. When asked about his commitment, here’s what Cronin had to say. “I am super excited to commit to play for a great team with great coaches and players. Thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for helping and guiding me every step of the way.”
Bobcats Head Coach Garrett Roth had nothing but high praise for Cronin when asked about the forward’s commitment. “Tommy is a high character, hard working, young man that has the ability to make his teammates better. He has proven at this level to be able to produce offensively at a high level, but it’s his intangibles he brings that will continue to separate him as he continues to advance in his career. We are excited for Tommy and his family as he has earned this opportunity to be a big contributor to the continued success that UAF has had under Coach Largen.”
