If you listen to Toast episodes of Toronto Mike'd, you already know that Bob Willette fell victim to the Corus cuts and lost his job as program director of their Kingston cluster of stations. Since then, Bob realized he wanted to be on the air, and not in management. But with the radio pie shrinking, and Bob approaching 50, was there still room for him in the industry he loves?
Yes! Bob has announced he's now a regular member of the Indie88 on-air team. To quote Bob himself:
I am happy to say that I will be back on air Monday at 6pm after Lana Gay 's show is done. And same with Tuesday and Wednesday. YES you will be subject to me on air LIVE 5 days a week starting Monday January 13th. Hope you can tune in!
