Bobcats Defenseman Matthew Rafalski Commits to Stonehill College
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that defenseman Matthew Rafalski has committed to continue his academic and collegiate hockey career at Stonehill College (NCAA DI).
Rafalski is in his 2nd season with the Bobcats. Over those two seasons he’s logged 71 games played, 10 goals, and 37 assists for a total of 47 points. This season Rafalski leads the Bobcats in assists with 10 and shots with 45. Rafalski talked about his excitement to join this up and coming Stonehill squad. “I can’t wait to keep developing my game at the division 1 level. I’m super excited and blessed to be a part of building something special at Stonehill.”
Bobcats Head Coach Garrett Roth talked about how valuable Rafalski has been to the Bobcats, along with his excitement for Rafalski to make an impact at Stonehill. “Matthew has been a leader and a go to guy in every situation for our group. His poise and offensive ability is dynamic for our group but his commitment to the defensive side of the puck has led the way and has made him one of the best defensemen in our league. His continued development has given him this opportunity to help lead Stonehill College into the future.
Stonehill College men’s ice hockey, (NCAA DI), plays in the Northeast Conference (NEC).
