Bobcats Defenseman Tristen Trevino Commits to Robert Morris University

The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that defenseman Tristen Trevino has committed to continue his academic and collegiate hockey career at Robert Morris University (NCAA DI).  

Trevino this season has been a mainstay on the back-end for the Bobcats. In 18 games played this season, Trevino has recorded 1 goal and 8 assists, for a total of 9 points. He also leads the Bobcats in the +/- category with a +12 on the campaign. Trevino mentioned his excitement to continue his career at RMU. “I’m pumped to play Division I hockey and go to school so close to home. I’m excited about the future of the program and I feel super comfortable with the coaching staff.”

Bobcats Head Coach Garrett Roth talked about the impact that Tristen has had on this Bobcats squad, along with the excitement he has for his young defenseman. “Tristen has done a great job for us all season long. He came into training camp and became an immediate impact on our back end. He is a mature, hard working, young man that values education and will have a great opportunity developing on the ice and in the classroom at Robert Morris.” 

Robert Morris University men’s ice hockey, (NCAA DI), plays in the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Conference.
