2025 Draft Early-Season Preview: Round 2
The Habs entered the season with two picks in the second round for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. They have their own pick and Pittsburgh’s which was acquired for taking back Jeff Petry’s contract.
While it has been a habit of this regime to trade away some of their early second-round picks for players they feel have untapped potential, it is worth noting that should the season continue to unravel the way it has over the last two weeks, they are in a pretty strong position to be sellers at the deadline and end up with even more than their current selections.
With that in mind, here are some players to keep your eyes on early on if you happen to be watching some other leagues.
