Vipers Youthful Roster Falls Short in 4-0 Defeat to Warriors

0 1

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers suffered a 4-0 defeat to the West Kelowna Warriors. Despite a valiant effort from their young roster, which included only three BCHL veterans, they struggled to break through.

“This game gave us a lot of information as some of our younger guys got some action,” says Head Coach of the Vipers Lukas Lomicky.  “Even though we lost, we saw some positive things we can build on.”

Sam Saskiw had a busy night, stopping 15 of 11 shots, while Marko Bilic came in strong with a flawless 12 saves in the second half. The Vipers’ will now look to build on this experience as they prepare for a date in Penticton Saturday night.
