Kings add more experience with addition of Marek Beaudoin

0 4

The Kings are excited to announce the signing of 2006 born forward Marek Beaudoin.

The 18 year old from Verchères Quebec was a second round draft pick of the QMJHL’s Chicoutimi Saguenéens in 2022. Beaudoin has played the past two seasons for the Sags, suiting scoring 15 times while collecting 15 assists in 120 games.

Beaudoin is the 6th new recruit to come to Powell River with over 100 games of previous junior experience and according to assistant G.M. Stephan Seeger Jr. Beaudoin is going to be a thorn in the side of opposing teams. “Simply put, Marek is a pain to play against. He can make things happen offensively with his skill and deception on attacks, and when he doesn’t have the puck he shows a willingness to be physical and get into the shooting lanes. He’s a menace to the opposition and has a good work ethic. We are excited to have Marek in a Kings jersey this year.”

The Kings will open training camp this weekend with a set of scrimmages at the Hap that are open to the public. They will take place Friday at 6pm and Saturday & Sunday at 11am.
