Smokies Acquire Lippai from Vees

Trail, British Columbia (July 26, 2024) – The Trail Smoke Eaters have acquired 2004 Forward, Attila Lippai from the Penticton Vees in exchange for Future Considerations.

Lippai is entering his 2nd season in the BCHL and is from St. Paul, Minnesota. Last season with the Vees, Attila scored 9 goals and added 9 assists for 18 points. He is committed to the University of St. Thomas (NCAA).

“Attila is a player we have tracked for a few seasons and he had a strong first season in the BCHL and in particluar in head-to-head games against us. He is extremely hard to play against and can impact the game in numerous ways. We like his IQ and overall skill set.”
