Vipers Sign ASU Commit Marko Bilic

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 2006 born goaltender Marko Bilic from Cushing Academy.

“In bringing Marko to Vernon, we are getting a great addition to our roster,” says Vipers Coach Lukas Lomicky.  “He is a tremendously talented young goalie with good size and athletic ability.  He is really motivated to work on his game and we are thrilled to be part of that process.”

Bilic, from Toronto, suited up for 32 games with Cushing Academy.  The team finished with a record of 30-4.

“I’m super excited to be signing with the Vernon Vipers,” says Bilic.  “I am extremely grateful for the coaching staff and team management for giving me the opportunity to play on a great team in a great town.  I look forward to being a part of the team next season.”

Bilic is 6’3, 183 pounds and catches left.  He is committed to Arizona State University.
