2024 Fred Page Cup Final Schedule Announced

PENTICTON, B.C. – The Penticton Vees face the Surrey Eagles in the 2024 BCHL Fred Page Cup Final, which begins Friday, May 17, at the South Surrey Arena.
The Vees are the two-time defending Fred Page Cup champions, as they look to win their third consecutive league championship. The Eagles are making their first BCHL Final appearance in 11 years. Penticton has won the Fred Page Cup a record 14 times. Surrey has won four championships in their history.
These two franchises have met twice before in the league final. In 2013, the Eagles bested the Vees in six games, and in 1998 it was the Eagles winning in five games over the then Panthers.
Penticton won the Interior Conference championship, the Ryan Hatfield Memorial Trophy, on Tuesday night in dramatic fashion. The Vees beat the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 4-3 in an epic come-from-behind win in Game Seven at the SOEC. The Vees scored three goals in the final four and half minutes of regulation to stun the Silverbacks and capture the Interior title.
The Eagles are back in the BCHL Final for the first time in just over a decade, after their seven-game series win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Surrey beat the Bulldogs 3-2 in Game Seven on Tuesday night. The Eagles have home ice advantage, as they were BCHL regular season champions, after they finished with 44 wins and 90 points.

Adult tickets are $20, and seniors are $18. Youth 18 and under get in free, courtesy of Peters Bros Construction. Fans can get their tickets at the Valley First box office at the SOEC, or online at www.valleyfirsttix.com.
The Valley First box office is open Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and will have special hours on Victoria Day Monday, May 20th, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, for fans to purchase their Fred Page Cup Final tickets.
