Luke Buss commits to the University of Wisconsin

The Nanaimo Clippers are excited to announce Luke Buss’s commitment to the University of Wisconsin.

Buss played in a total of 52 games with the Clippers over the 23/24 regular season, garnering 55 points with 29 goals and 26 assists. He added a goal and an assist over five playoff games.

Head Coach and General Manager Colin Birkas said of Buss: “He loves the game, has an infectious personality and just has a passion for scoring. I really enjoyed coaching him this season. We are happy for his family that he ended up in Wisconsin.”

As he prepares to move forward to Wisconsin, Luke shared that, “I am very grateful for my experience in Nanaimo this past season. I want to thank my coaches and teammates for all their support. I am extremely excited for the opportunity to play at the University of Wisconsin.”

The Clippers would like to thank Buss for his dedication to the team and wish him all the best in what’s to come.
