#LAKings Ontario Reign Projected Lineup vs. Henderson Silver Knights; Including Turcotte Updat

0 15

Coming off a pair of wins over the weekend, goaltender Cal Petersen will look to make it three straight in his return to action with the Ontario Reign on Wednesday night. Providing the opposition will be a team he’s never faced before in his professional career – the Henderson Silver Knights. Their innagural AHL campaign came in 2020-21, the season after Petersen has graduated to the NHL.
At the team level, this will be the fourth matchup between the two clubs this year. Ontario dropped the game played in Henderson, yet claimed both games on home ice by scores of 5-3 and 3-2. Last month, the Pacific Division rivals split a home-and-home series, with Kings prospect Tyler Madden scoring in both contests. Quinton Byfield also scored in the most recent game and he is expected to remain on a line with Madden tonight.
Alex Turcotte was playing with that pair previously. However, since missing a few games with illness, Turcotte has skated the past few days in practice with Rasmus Kupari as his center. It appears things are trending in that direction for his return to the lineup tonight.
Reign going with an optional pregame skate this morning.
On the ice: Vilalta, Helenius, Lee, Kupari, Turcotte, Wagner, Chromiak, Grans, Moverare,
and Nousiainen.
As usual, we'll have our projected lineup posted later today.

Perhaps the key question for coach Marco Sturm vs. Henderson will be the availability of Jacob Moverare. He was a late scratch on Sunday due to a lower-body injury, but he’s skates the past few days and may be available tonight.
