TROY, Mich. - (ACHA Release) - Indiana Tech head men's hockey coach Fran DiCristofaro has been named as an assistant coach for the 2023 World Cup of University Hockey. DiCristofaro joins Michael Joseph of Robert Morris, Jeremy Law of Missouri State, and Mike Rivera of Central Oklahoma as assistants for the two American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) teams: one for the United States and one for Canada. DiCristofaro and Rivera will support head coach Gary Astalos of Adrian (Mich.) with the team representing the U.S.
The 2023 World Cup competition is scheduled for April 14-19 in CârÈ›a, Romania. The players have not yet been selected.
