Toronto Maple Leafs showing resiliency during difficult stretch

The Leafs have collected six points on this four-game road trip in the absence of Morgan Rielly, T.J. Brodie, Jake Muzzin, and Jordie Benn on the blue line. Mark Giordano has been a stalwart during this time on the back end logging well over 20 minutes of ice time per game and sacrificing his body to put up 28 blocked shots in the span of six games. The final stop of the road trip for the Leafs comes in Motor City as they will look to take on the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow night before heading home for a battle against the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday to close out the month.
