Junior national team roster announced
Ringette Canada is pleased to announce its junior national team roster that will compete at the 2022 World Ringette Championships taking place in Espoo, Finland from October 31 to November 6, 2022. The 22 athletes were named to the team following a selection camp that was held in Mississauga, Ontario this past weekend.
“We are very excited to ice such a strong and powerful group of young athletes for this team,” said Stephanie Laurin, Ringette Canada’s High Performance and Athlete Service Manager. “This dynamic group of young Canadians, from six provinces, showed us they are ready to compete as we pursue our 4th consecutive world championship title.”
The following athletes have been named to Ringette Canada’s Junior National Team Travelling Roster for the 2022 World Ringette Championships. The Travelling Roster is the group of 22 athletes that will travel to the World Ringette Championship. This shall be made up of 20 Playing Roster athletes and 2 Development Roster athletes. A Development Roster athlete may only be added to the Playing Roster if an athlete is deemed unfit to play for medical reasons and therefore is removed from the Playing Roster.

Mark Beal (Cap Pele, NB) leads the junior national team as head coach, along with assistant coaches Colleen Hagan (Manotick, ON), Keel Brown (Edmonton, AB) and Andrea Ferguson (Winnipeg, MB). Melinda Krulicki (Red Deer, AB) is the team’s athletic therapist and Jocelyn MacLeod (Winnipeg, MB) is the team manager.
The Junior National Team will continue to train over the next 6 months over the course of 5 training camps that will be held in conjunction with our Senior National Team. The next camp is set to take place in Edmonton from June 24-26, 2022.
