Your Moncton Wildcats will play host to their first Quebec team on home ice since the 2019-2020 season. The last time the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies were in the Avenir Centre was February 21, 2020. The Wildcats picked up a big win last night, defeating the Memorial Cup hosts, the Saint John Sea Dogs 4-3. Miles Müller notched his first goal in the QMJHL, which also happened to be the game winning goal. Vincent Labelle had a goal and an assist while Francis Langlois and Maxim Barbashev also found the back of the net. 20-year-old defenceman, Samuel Desgroseilliers made his Wildcats debut last night, contributing with an assist on the Labelle goal. Thomas Couture made 41 saves for his fourth win in his last five games. Moncton currently sits 13th overall in the league, while the Huskies are in 16th place - just one point separates the two teams. We host Rouyn on their final stop of a three game Maritime swing.
