#LAKings Ontario Reign Projected Lineup for Rematch with Abbotsford Canucks (MayorsManor)

Following an opening night blowout of longtime rival San Diego, the Ontario Reign came right back the next day and faced the AHL’s newest Pacific Division Team, the Abbotsford Canucks.
In an interesting back story, if you go into the MM archives and read up on the original plans for the AHL West moves in 2015, Vancouver was one of the NHL teams looking to be included (see article linked below). In the end, it took them a long time to finally make the jump.
Back to the present – that second game of the season on Sunday found the Reign and Canucks needing a shootout to solve things, with Abbotsford coming out on top.

In tonight’s rematch, Reign coach John Wroblewski appears set to borrow a popular move from Kings coach Todd McLellan’s playbook over the past month – putting guys on their off wing. LA prospect Sammy Fagemo, a long-time right wing, is said to be sliding over to the left side for this early season rematch. He’s essentially flipping spots with Madden, who will drop down to reunite with Alex Turcotte.
On defense, the big move is putting Jordan Spence back in the lineup after resting him on Sunday in favor of fellow rookie Helge Grans. Spence has been one of the most impressive additions to Ontario’s newly configured blueline this season.
