CNC Alumni Update – October 18
Prince George BC – It was another successful weekend for Prince George Spruce Kings Alumni in the NCAA. 2019 Spruce King Lucas Vanroboys finished the weekend with 3 assists, helping Bentley University to a victory over Boston College by a 6-2 score.
Ben Brar is continuing his success in his Junior season at Merrimack College. The three-year Spruce King had two goals and a helper this past weekend against the Colgate Raiders. Merrimack took three of four points against Colgate.
Nick Poisson had two assists in his sophomore season at Providence College. The Spruce King alumnus had those helpers against both Minnesota State and Minnesota Duluth. Poisson now has six assists in the Friar’s past five games.

Patrick Cozzi also scored his first goal of the season, as Cozzi is entering his Junior year at Colorado College. Cozzi’s tally came against Union on Sunday.

The Spruce Kings are back in action on Wednesday afternoon at 1 PM for the BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack. The Spruce Kings will be taking on the Wenatchee Wild on Wednesday, followed by a date with the Victoria Grizzlies on Thursday evening at 7:30 at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
