BCHL Releases 2021-22 Reg. Season Sched.

Vernon, B.C. — The BC Hockey League released its full 54-game schedule today for the 2021-22 regular season, which is set to begin on Friday, Oct. 8.

The Vernon Vipers will open the season on October 8h with a road game against the Penticton Vees. The first home game of the season will be Saturday, October 16th against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

“We are excited to turn the page and get back to competing for a Fred Page Cup in 2021-22,” said BCHL Deputy Commissioner Steven Cocker. “With our schedule now out, players as well as fans will have the opportunity to look ahead to key dates and get excited for our 60th Anniversary season.”

Vipers Important Dates:

Oct. 8 Season opener @ Penticton 7:00pm
Oct. 16 – Home opener vs. Salmon Arm 6:00pm
Nov. 5 & 6 – Back to back Home games against the Wenatchee Wild
Dec. 18 – Final game before Christmas break vs Prince George 6:00pm
Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day home game game vs. Salmon Arm 2:00 pm
Feb. 11 & 12 – Back to back home games with the BCHL newest franchise the Cranbrook Bucks
March 20 – Final regular season game against West Kelowna 2:30pm

The BCHL will provide further details on the Showcase and Road Show events at a later date, as well as more information regarding the league’s plans to celebrate its 60th Anniversary season.
