SHL – Marek Hrivík, Leksands IF 

This year Marek Hrivík suited up for his second year in the Swedish Hockey League with Leksands IF. Dominating the league, he ended the regular season with 44 games played, 14 goals and 37 assists for 51 points. Earning awards for most assists in the SHL, most points, and was also named most valuable player. He played in four playoff games, before Leksands IF was eliminated in the quarter finals. Following his three years in the QMJHL with Moncton, Marek played in both the AHL and NHL before transitioning to play in Europe.

EIHL – Dominic Talbot-Tassi, Nottingham Panthers

This season former Wildcat defenseman Dominic Talbot-Tassi made the move overseas to join the Elite Ice Hockey League with the Nottingham Panthers. During his time in the UK, Dominic was part of their team's Elite Series Championship win, playing in 16 games and adding 8 points. Following his time in the QMJHL, Dominic moved back home to Quebec where he attended McGill University. Over the next five years he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, while continuing to play hockey. He ended his university career with his name in the record books as the all-time top-scoring defenceman for the McGill University men's hockey team. He is now working towards his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
