The Lehigh Valley Phantoms had three games postponed last week including a home game on Sunday, April 18 vs. Hershey.
All fans with tickets for any postponed games are encouraged to hold on to their tickets. These will be good for any rescheduled dates which have yet to be announced. Fans who wish to exchange their game tickets for another game this season can do so by emailing ticketsales@phantomshockey.com or by calling 610-224-4625

This Week:

Wednesday, April 21 7:05 p.m.  – PPL Center, Allentown PA
Lehigh Valley Phantoms (12-3-2) vs. Hershey Bears (15-5-2) 
The Phantoms return to the ice at PPL Center for the first time since April 3. Lehigh Valley is 5-2-0 against Hershey entering Game 8 of the season series. Tyson Foerster has scored three of his six goals against Hershey and Derrick Pouliot has scored ALL three of his lamplighters against the Bears. Ryan Fitzgerald has four of his team-leading nine goals against Hershey as well.  Zane McIntyre is 4-0-0 against Hershey with a 1.72 goals-against average and .946 save percentage in the season series.
Hershey has won four straight. The Bears are 2-2-2 against Lehigh Valley but are 13-3-0 against the rest of their schedule. Capitals first-rounder Connor McMichael leads the Hershey attack with eight goals. 37-year-old captain Matt Moulson has scored 7-7-14.

Friday, April 23, 7:0o p.m. – RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey, House, Newark, NJ
Lehigh Valley Phantoms (12-3-2) at Binghamton Devils (5-10-6)
The Phantoms are 4-0-2 against the Devils this season but dropped the most recent meeting in a hard-fought 2-1 shootout loss at Newark on April 5. That is also the most recent game the Phantoms have played entering this week. Veteran Ben Thomson has scored three of his five goals this season against the Phantoms. Popular Phantoms’ alum Danick Martel is the top scorer among active Devils players at 6-8-14. Prospect Nolan Foote paces the team overall at 6-10-16 but was recently recalled to New Jersey for his NHL debut. Lehigh Valley is 6-2-2 on the road.

Saturday, April 24, 2021, 7:05 pm – PPL Center, Allentown, PA
Lehigh Valley Phantoms (12-3-2) vs. Binghamton Devils (5-10-6)
The first-place Phantoms and Binghamton Devils rematch at PPL Center in the finale of their weekend home-and-home slate. Zane McIntyre has gone 2-0-2, 1.68, .935 against the Devils this season. Max Willman has scored four of his seven goals against Binghamton. Tanner Laczynski, now with the Flyers, had a hat trick at Newark on March 26 that included a spectacular shorthanded game-winner in the third period in which he put the puck backward between his legs to score on the forehand. The Phantoms are 6-1-1 at PPL Center this season.

Monday, April 26, 2021, 6:00 pm – RWJHealth Hockey House, Newark, NJ
Lehigh Valley Phantoms at Binghamton Devils (Completion of suspended game)
The Phantoms and Devils meet yet again, this time back in Newark. This is the resumption of the March 10 game that was suspended in Newark after one period of play with the score tied at 1-1. The two teams are scheduled to play the final two periods in this contest. Both teams are allowed to freely substitute new players from their original lineup in the March 10 beginning of the game. In the first period of this game, Cal O’Reilly scored a goal for Lehigh Valley after Grahme Clarke had given the Devils the initial 1-0 lead.

His Aim is True!
Wade Allison made his NHL debut AND scored his first NHL goal in successive games last week. The second-rounder out of Western Michigan has immediately impressed with the big club and became the 29th Lehigh Valley Phantoms player to receive a recall to the Flyers for an NHL debut. He was the third to do so this season joining Maksim Sushko and Tanner Laczynski. Allison has scored 4-5-9 with the Phantoms this season.

Cam York Arrival
Defenseman Cam York is back on the Phantoms roster and is eligible to make his professional debut this week. The highly acclaimed first-round selection of the Flyers in 2019 is coming off a terrific sophomore season at the University of Michigan in which he was named Big Ten Defenseman of the Year. He was also the Captain of the USA World Juniors team that won the gold medal with a tremendous 2-0 upset of the favored Canadian squad in a strong performance in Edmonton last January. The southern California native turned 20 years old in January.
