0 9
Quite simply, this is pretty wild. If you think the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is an interesting exercise, how about what the folks at Sportsnet have been able to dig up…
They’ve found a way to link Jeff Carter and the Kings all the way back to LA’s selection of Gord Labossiere in the NHL’s 1967 Expansion Draft.
That’s crazy.
1987: Kings trade Dionne to Rangers in package for Bob Carpenter

1989: Kings trade Carpenter to Bruins in package for Steve Kasper

1991: Kings trade Kasper to Flyers in package for Jeff Chychrun

1992: Kings trade Chychrun to Penguins in package for Paul Coffey

2006: Kings trade Belanger to Hurricanes in package for Jack Johnson

2012: Kings trade Johnson to Blue Jackets in package for Jeff Carter

2021: Kings trade Carter to Penguins for conditional 2022 3rd and 2023 4th round picks
