Coronavirus Update

The government's 3-tier system for Coronavirus restrictions has placed Goosedale Sports Club in a Tier 3 (Very High Risk) area.

With respect to playing hockey, this has meant that:

1. All fixtures in the MRHA men's league for December 2020 have been cancelled, although resumption is expected in January 2021.
2. Friendlies can be organised with other clubs that are also in Tier 3, although travelling large distances to play matches is strongly discouraged.
3. There is no post-match hospitality due to the rules about mixing households.

All other rules remain the same as they did before (England Hockey Stage 5 on their Returning to Play guidelines).

We will issue updates if the situation changes.  In the meantime, stay vigilant and try to keep yourselves fit for when the league fixtures do resume.
