Calgary Flames 2020 Draft Primer
It’s draft week.
The NHL will hold its annual draft virtually this year, October 6 (round one) and 7 (all other rounds). The coverage will start Tuesday at 4 p.m. PST and will air on NBC Sports as well as Sportsnet in Canada. Wednesday’s action starts at 8:30 a.m. PST and can be found on the NHL Network and on Sportsnet.
The Calgary Flames hold the following picks:
First Round – 19th overall
Second Round – 50th overall
Third Round – None
Fourth Round – 96th overall
Fifth Round – 143rd overall
Sixth Round – 174th overall
Seventh Round – 205th overall
Last season, the Heat roster featured players selected in four of seven rounds of the draft, including:
