Lodi Crushers Hit The Ice Saturday Against Iowa

Come thirsty on Saturday.

As part of a new partnership with Lodi Wine, the Heat will become the Lodi Crushers on Saturday, featuring some themed alternate threads for Lodi Wine Night against the Iowa Wild.

The wine-inspired sweaters pay homage to the rich wine culture of Lodi, California, which sits just miles north of Stockton and features dozens of wineries. The jersey features orange and lavender trim to complement the red-wine base.

The jerseys will be available via silent auction at the game, with the bids closing in the second intermission.

The night is complete with a pregame wine tasting, running from 4 to 6 p.m. by the arena’s North entrance. Those participating can sample from 10 participating wineries with the purchase of a $25 admission wristband. The wines will then be sold by the bottle at the FanAttic sports bar in the arena.
