Orlando topped the Swamp Rabbits on Sunday, 3-2, behind 29 saves from Martin Ouellette. The Solar Bears’ goalie saw his GAA drop below 3.00 again after a rough game against Florida last week. Otto Somppi had two more points to give him 8 in 5 games since being reassigned to Orlando from AHL Syracuse.
The Solar Bears (29-19-4-0) climbed to 10 games over .500 with the win and sit in second in the South, two points ahead of Jacksonville with three games in hand.
