FOTM Gill Deacon just announced on Here and Now that she's leaving her role as host of the popular Toronto afternoon drive show on CBC Radio One.
Gill has been public about her recent battle with Long Covid following battles with cancer.
I hosted Here and Now for just over 10 wonderful years. It's time to leave the host's chair at Here and Now and let someone else shape the program into its next iteration.
Several years ago, she joined me for a great chat about her career.
I wish Gill nothing but the very best in the next chapter.
