Coldest Ride of the Year

Yesterday, I planned a ride to Yonge and Bloor to pick something up for my wife. It was one of those "-29 with the wind chill" days, and my intent was to bike the Waterfront Trail east to Yonge. The round trip would have been about 35KM.

By the time I hit the Humber Bridge and left Etobicoke, I knew I was in trouble. It was just too cold for a 90 minute ride. I abandoned my original plan and went for a chilly 45 minute ride instead.

I'll head to Yonge and Bloor today instead.
