Here's why India play six months after Pro League resumption

Hockey has joined the queue to return to action as the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has announced September 22 as the date for resumption of the men's and women's FIH Pro League season. But fans of the Indian team, which is part of only the men's competition, were left a little surprised because captain Manpreet Singh and his boys return to action only in April next year.
