Have heard very little on this lately. Clearly, he is still participating in practice and traveling with the team. Is the plan to keep him on the 23 man roster until Dec 15 at which point he will be placed on waivers?
From what I understand, the Kings will still be on the hook for his salary as well as the $6.25M cap hit. I cant see anyone picking him up unless the Kings take on the majority of what Ilya is owed. Strange situation to say the least.
