The famous HOG goal scored by Maradona in the 1986 WC quarterfinal against England was not the first
time he had tried this trick.
It happened two years earlier in the game between Barcelona and Fluminense in 1984 in the Trans-Atlantic Cup tournament played in Giants Stadium, New Jersey.
With the match tied at 2-2 Maradona punched one in from a corner kick. However the handball was spotted by US FIFA referee Dr. Bob Evans and the goal was disallowed!
