[Women's Golf] Indiana Tech's Dye Takes Individual Medalist at NAIA Women's Golf Nationals
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - (team results | individual results | NAIA release) - Indiana Tech's Courtney Dye closed out her collegiate career as a national champion. Dye recorded a three-round total of 222 (72, 79, 71) to claim the individual title by one stroke at the PGA National Squire Course. The tournament ran from May 23-26. Dye started the day in fourth place, but shot four birdies in the final round to take the medalist honor at six-over par.
Oklahoma City won the team championship, shooting a 925. Indiana Tech finished 14th with a 984 and Northwestern Ohio carded a 991 for 16th place in its first tournament appearance. Caitriona Griffin led the Racers with a 243 to tie for 53rd place.
