[Men's Golf] Men's Golf in 2nd After Day 1 at Nationals

Tyler Junior College, led by top 10 golfers Garrett White and Marco Maldonado, are in second place after Tuesday's first round of the NJCAA Division II National Golf Tournament being held at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.

Mississippi Gulf Coast, paced by leader Jackson Wedgeworth's 5-under 66, was the only team under par, carding a 7-under 277 on the 7,050-yard, par 71 course.

The Apaches are next, with a 1-over 285. TJC is followed by host Mesa and Murray State (Oklahoma), who are tied for third at 3-over 287. South Mountain (Arizona) is fifth at 9-over 293.
