Players Championship 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Saturday's round online
One of the best golf tournaments for TV will get the full treatment on Saturday at TPC Sawgrass.
The 2017 Players Championship continues on Saturday with the third round of golf’s unofficial fifth major from TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Coverage for the final two rounds shifts from Golf Channel to NBC, beginning with the third round at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. Mike Tirico will host NBC’s golf coverage, with Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller perched in the 18th hole tower. This remains one of NBC Golf’s premier events, even with The Open now in their lineup. They have always been the traditional partner for this event and Johnny is back to shine this weekend at Sawgrass.
The third round can be streamed online via NBC Sports. PGA Tour Live will have a featured groups stream up and running in the morning before the leaders get on the course during the NBC coverage window. All the streaming and technological bells and whistles are brought out for this one, a made-for-tv tournament that often yields drama throughout.
Louis Oosthuizen and Kyle Stanley shot dueling 66s on Friday, and both enter the weekend atop the leaderboard at 9-under par.
Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Adam Scott, Jon Rahm, and Jason Day are some of the bigger names also within range. Here are all your media options for Saturday at The Players:
