[Women's Golf] Five Chargers Deemed All-Conference

The Briar Cliff women's golf team had five players named to the 2017 GPAC Women's Golf All-Conference Team after the Chargers claimed their first GPAC title this spring. Taylor Minger, Nicole Hemelberg, Abby Brinkman and Arianna Presilla were all named first team all-conference and Brooke Kroeger was selected as an honorable mention team member. Briar Cliff head coach Ben Irlbeck was named the GPAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year after coaching the Chargers to their first ever conference title with a team score of 1,338 (350-332-334-322). The title not only marked the first ever GPAC Championship for women's golf, but was also the first title for any women's team in Briar Cliff history.
