[Women's Golf] CMU golfers ninth after opening round

OSKALOOSA, Iowa. – The Central Methodist University women's golf team finished the opening round of the 2017 Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship in ninth place, shooting a 94-over-par 378. CMU's Hannah Clark (SR/Kansas City, Kan.) is currently tied for 20th place in the medalist competition with a 15-over-par 86.

William Penn University leads the team competition, shooting a 20-over-par 304. The Statesmen lead Grand View University by 23 strokes, as the Vikings posted a 43-over-par 327 heading into the final round. Baker University is in third, 35 strokes behind WPU with a score of 339. Mount Mercy University is in fourth place with a 344, while Peru State College shot a 346.
