[Women's Golf] Bartley places 14th, Elmore 23rd at AMC Tournament
EUGENE, Mo. – When the American Midwest Conference women's golf tournament was all said and done, Katherine Bartley (SR/Vilonia, Ark.) (pictured below right) led the Lyon College women's golf team with her fifth top 25 finish of the season, placing in a tie for 14th. Bartley nearly matched her first round score of 85, by shooting an 86 in the second round for a total of 171 for the tournament. Hailey Elmore (FR/Jacksonville, Ark.) made an improvement from the first round by posting a second round score of 86 – 15 strokes better than her first round total. She came in a tie for 23rd with a total of 187.
William Woods grabbed the team title, moving ahead of Columbia with a score of 651. The Cougars finished second with a score of 663, while Freed-Hardeman placed third after carding a 685 along with Park. Missouri Baptist would place fifth with a total score of 735 and Hannibal LaGrange came in sixth with a score of 802. Stephens College rounded out the field of teams with a score of 953 in seventh.
