[Women's Golf] Thompson Second; SXU Women’s Golf Third On Day One of CCAC Championship

Flossmoor, Ill. – Senior Taylor Thompson (Galesburg, Ill./Knoxville) shot a round of 82 and sits in a tie for second place overall to lead Saint Xavier University after the first day of the two-day 2017 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golf Championship Thursday at Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill.  The Cougars sits in third place in the 10-team conference event with an opening round team score of 366.  Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.) leads the team standings after day one with a score of 347.  The tournament features 47 conference golfers.
