[Women's Golf] ONU's Tyler Gains Medalist, Weekly Honors Over Seven-Day Stretch

CHICAGO --- Gaining individual medalist honors at last week's Rumble at the Rock Spring Invitational has earned Olivet Nazarene University senior Sydney Tyler (SR/Bloomington, Ill.) (Bloomington, Ill.) Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending April 23, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Tyler's two-day total of 159 – her best two-day score of the year - tied her for the medalist honors.  She shot a 79 on Friday and an 80 on Saturday.  A total of 53 golfers made up the field.

Olivet Nazarene placed third as a team at the invitational, its eighth third-or-better finish of the year.
