[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Finishes 8th at LTU Invite

Silva, Ill. - The Holy Cross men's golf team struggled to push past 8th place in the Lawrence Tech Invite hosted at TPC Deere Run in Silva, Illinois. The Saints tried to make a second round push, but were unable to break into the top 5.

Joey Medora led the way for the Saints with rounds of 73 and 71, respectively. Medora's 144 total was good enough to place 13th in the event that held 60 golfers. Brendon Shibley was not far behind Medora finishing with a 146 total and 17th place finish. Shibley carded matching rounds of 73 in the two day event. 

Matt Sheldon fired in a first round 77, followed by an 85 on the final day of play. Alex Meagher improved by 21 strokes on Saturday to card a 73 (+1). Greg Fean rounded out the Holy Cross lineup to shoot a 170 total, with rounds of 92 and 78, respectively.
