NFL Star George Kittle's Terrible Golf Swing Goes Viral

0 9

George Kittle can bulldoze defenders and haul in impossible catches, but his golf swing is a different kind of highlight.

A now-viral clip from Tight End University is giving fans a reason to laugh after the San Francisco 49ers star showed off a swing that’s more chaos than country club.

In a short video posted by the NFL’s official X account on June 25, several tight ends teed off during a laid-back golf outing at this year’s Tight End U retreat. But one swing stood out, and not for the usual reasons.

Kittle’s form was, to put it generously, unconventional. Within seconds, the internet dubbed it the worst of the bunch.

“Who had the best golf swing? ????” the NFL playfully asked in the caption.

Fans didn’t hesitate to sound off, with Kittle earning the kind of attention usually reserved for his highlight-reel stiff arms.

One viewer joked, “It looks like his club was too afraid to hit the ball.”

Another chimed in: “That ball deserves an apology.”

Tight End University, co-founded by Kittle, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, has become a staple of the NFL offseason. It brings together elite tight ends for training, bonding, and, apparently, questionable golf.

This year’s outing provided a behind-the-scenes look at the lighter side of the game, demonstrating that even professional athletes have their off days.

Kittle, ever the good sport, laughed it off. Known for his charisma and high-energy presence, the Pro Bowler leaned into the moment as fans and teammates poked fun at his form. Even fellow tight ends couldn’t help but roast him in the comments.

While he may not be earning a green jacket anytime soon, Kittle once again reminded fans why he’s one of the most entertaining personalities in the league on or off the field.
