Loughgall Golf Club vs Portadown Golf Club

Loughgall Golf Club’s Junior Cowdy campaign came to an end at the second-round stage following a closely fought two-legged tie against local rivals Portadown Golf Club.

In the first leg, played at Portadown, the home side made the most of familiar ground and ran out 3–1 winners, putting Loughgall under pressure heading into the return leg.

Despite a spirited fightback and some impressive play at home, Loughgall were unable to overturn the deficit. The team battled hard and pushed Portadown all the way but ultimately ran out of holes as the visitors held firm to secure their place in the next round.

The match across both legs was played in excellent spirit, showcasing great sportsmanship and competitive golf from both sides.
