What is the US Open golf playoff format and how is it used to decide the winner? all you need to know

The U.S. Open hasn't seen a playoff in nearly two decades, since Tiger Woods' memorable 2008 victory. A new two-hole aggregate playoff format was introduced in 2018 but remains untested. It means that the players tied after 72 holes will play two holes, and the player with the lowest score thereafter will be declared the winner.
