Tam McManus warns Kevin Nisbet Hibs could have the last laigh

There might have been a few noses out of joint among the Hibs support for Kevin Nisbet giving it big licks after scoring for Aberdeen against his old club. But I didn’t have a problem with it. If anything, I would have been more annoyed if he hadn’t celebrated. There’s nothing that makes me cringe more than these muted reactions when players notch against former sides. Listen, maybe if you’ve spent 15 years somewhere and there’s a statue outside their stadium, then fair enough. But other times? No chance. There’s no better feeling than scoring in any game but there’s always something a bit special when it’s against a team you’ve played for. Mind you, no one would have even seen me doing a celebration if I kept the head against my old teams – given there were 14 of them! Nisbet was entitled to enjoy the moment in such a big game.
