Reggie Bush's New TravisMathew Line Is Built for Golf, Date Night, and Everything In Between
At the height of his career, Reggie Bush was a football phenomenon. His standout college performance and 11-year run in the NFL cemented his status as a household name. Since retiring from the league in 2017, Bush has transitioned into a successful career as a sports broadcaster, become a vocal advocate for college athletes’ rights, and embraced philanthropy with his own nonprofit, 619 Charitable Funds, which supports youth-focused initiatives in his hometown of San Diego.
In the last few years, Bush also teamed up with TravisMathew, a sportswear brand that blends performance and casual wear. Although the collaboration launched in 2024, Bush’s reputation for sharp, fashion-forward looks is longstanding. From his NFL days to his current role as a broadcaster and public figure, he’s consistently favored clean, tailored fits, and his collection with TravisMathew stays true to that signature style.
"I didn't want to just make a shirt. I want to make a shirt, pants, shorts, plus a hat, that go together, you know," he told Men's Journal. "I joke about this, but it's true. When men shop, we like simplicity. We don't want to be in a store too long. You know, 10 minutes is like our max. My wife is sitting there all day and still has not come out with an outfit. I see an outfit that looks good...I'm going home with that outfit. So, the idea was to create outfits."

A quick look at Bush’s new line proves he meant business. He didn’t just design great standalone pieces—he created full monochromatic looks that make it easy to put together an entire outfit. From polos and tees to shorts, joggers, hats, gloves, and more, it’s a head-to-toe collection built for style and performance.
"I could wear this on a golf course, or into a business meeting, or date night with my wife, or to go and pick up my kids from school, it works all around," he said. "And I love that because it gives you a lot of variety in what you're wearing."
When asked to name his favorite piece, Reggie couldn’t pick just one—but he made it clear that every detail matters. He did call out the baseball hats, though. They’re sleek enough for everyday wear but were designed with golf—his favorite way to stay fit and unwind—in mind.
"With traditional baseball hats, the stitching goes down the middle," he said, tracing an invisible line on his False Start Snapback Hat. "Here we have the stitching going with the forehead. And it just gives it a cleaner look from side to side."
Then he pointed to a small detail on the side of the hat.
"But also, you see this little piece right here—that's designed for your golf tee," he said, pulling out a tee from the loop. "So when you're playing golf, and you know, you're going from tee box to tee box, take that tee out, put it in the ground, or stick it back in, and you've got a little placeholder for it. You know, it's just little fun, things like that, that we added into the outfits."
He also pointed out his love for the Featherweight Stealth Hooded Polo—a golf shirt with a built-in hoodie, an innovative combo he says was inspired by his personal obsession with both styles.
"I'm a hoodie guy," he said. "I love putting hoodies on everything—jackets, shirts, you know, whatever it is. I wanted to bring style to the golf space. And I love being a trendsetter. It's always been a part of me...the kind of player I was on the football field. I felt like I did things that were different, new, and, you know, just innovative. And I want to continue to be creative, to be innovative, to set trends."
