Major UK motorway blocked with 3-mile queues following crash

There was also congestion on the A1 (M) and motorists were warned of delays of up to 40 minutes.The crash on the M11 took place heading northbound near J8 A120 / Stansted (Bishops Stortford). There were tailbacks of around three miles.Meanwhile, drivers on the A1 (M) were warned of delays between J61 and J62. There were also residual delays heading northbound between J63 and J62.
