SePro announces new turf and landscape technical specialist for the Southeastern US

SePro Corporation added Mike Kellum as its new turf and landscape technical specialist for the southeastern U.S. Kellum has more than 20 years of experience in the turf industry, including time as a golf course superintendent.

“Mike’s depth of experience and strong industry background make him a perfect fit for our team. His expertise will further strengthen our support in the Southeast and help drive continued growth in the region,“ Sean Lynch, vice president of turf, ornamental and ag at SePro, said.

Kellum’s career spans various roles in the turf industry, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the challenges faced by professionals managing golf courses, sports fields and other landscapes. His hands-on experience as a golf course superintendent equips him with practical insights into maintaining high-quality turf under demanding conditions, according to SePro.

Due to its climate and diverse landscapes, the southeastern United States presents unique challenges for turf management, from combating invasive aquatic weeds to addressing labor shortages with innovative solutions.

Outside of Kellum, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, and playing golf. A proud Mississippi State University alumnus and avid Atlanta Braves fan.
