PBI-Gordon adds Jared Hoyle, Ph.D., to its marketing team
PBI-Gordon Corp. appointed Jared Hoyle, Ph.D., as its new marketing manager for the professional turf and ornamental market.
Hoyle brings years of experience to his new role, having previously held marketing and sales positions at Corteva Agriscience. His academic background includes a tenure as associate professor and extension turfgrass specialist at Kansas State University, where he also directed the university’s Turfgrass Research Center.
With a Ph.D. in agronomy and soils from Auburn University and a master’s degree in crop science from North Carolina State University, Hoyle has expertise in both the practical and theoretical aspects of turfgrass management.
Hoyle’s role will focus on developing and executing strategic marketing plans to expand PBI-Gordon’s professional product portfolio. As the turfgrass industry continues to adapt to new technologies and environmental regulations, Hoyle’s blend of academic and corporate experience positions him well to drive innovation in PBI-Gordon’s marketing strategies, according to the company.
PBI-Gordon added that the appointment underscores the importance of bridging academic research with industry needs, potentially leading to more targeted and effective turfgrass management solutions for golf courses and professional lawn care providers.
